We can all use some help getting our colors selected for a design. This simple tool helps you visualize them together quickly. You may also limit your selections to the web safe colors or the expanded colors.

The colors used for this display are the [00] [11] [22] [33] [44] [55] [66] [77] [88] [99] [aa] [bb] [cc] [dd] [ee] [ff] hex color set.
Generally speaking, you only want to use 2-3 colors as your primary colors on the page. Remember simple is better.
The negative value is the exact opposite as the color you chose based on the standard color wheel. While it may not be the best choice for your design, it will give you a starting place for picking your second color. I recommend finding a book about Color Harmony and reading up - it will make your life much easier as a designer.
Sometimes picking a square set of values such as this set, can be helpful in finding a tone or voice for the colors on your page.
